Charring in dry distillation state is divided into three stages:
1. Preheating and drying stage:

2. combustion stage:
Raw materials in high temperature conditions, precipitation of water, the beginning of combustion at high temperatures, while releasing a large amount of heat, generally can account for 70% of the total heat, while there is a hot air flow with the carbonization furnace circulating pipe back to the bottom of the dry distillation tank for combustion, this time and for the process of refining charcoal, when the raw materials are mostly light red in color.
3. the stage of carbonization:
When the flue gas returning from the recirculation pipe of the charcoal furnace gradually becomes smaller, it proves that the charring is gradually finished, at which time the flow of hot air should be blocked and allowed to extinguish the fire, and the matured canisters should be lifted out by a gantry, and the next dry distillation canisters full of fuel rods should be lifted into the dry distillation furnace to repeat the charring. It should be noted that the above stages, although carried out sequentially in series, are partly overlapping. It should be pointed out that the drying stage of the raw material stick in the furnace is a very important part of carbonization, and its time should be controlled for more than 2 hours, so that it can be fully dried, which is conducive to improving the quality of charcoal, and is an important factor to reduce the fragmented charcoal and cracked charcoal.
