Q2: How do I choose between a Blade Rotor and a Hammer Rotor for a Tub Grinder?

Blade Rotor: Ideal for clean, organic woods such as fresh logs, large tree roots without stone/soil contamination, branches, and crop straw. It produces uniform wood chips suitable for pulp, biomass fuel, or mulch.
Hammer Rotor: Ideal for waste wood containing metal or dirt, such as demolition timber, dirty tree stumps with soil/rocks, waste furniture, and wooden pallets with nails. The heavy-duty alloy hammers smash wood through high impact while resisting severe wear from hard debris.

Q3: What is the difference between the Tub Diameter and the Effective Processing Diameter?

The tub diameter refers to the top opening width of the rotating hopper, while the effective processing size is the maximum timber width/diameter that the bottom rotor throat can directly grind:
2600mm Tub: Effective processing size up to 1600mm.
3200mm Tub: Effective processing size up to 2200mm.
3600mm Tub: Effective processing size up to 2200mm.
Selecting the tub size depends on your loader bucket size and how wide the raw tree stumps/logs are before loading.
